How The Museum Resource Network Began

 Once Upon a Time...there was a museum volunteer who found herself saying, "I want to work in a museum!  Now what?" After extensive questioning of the museum staff; research into museum studies programs and careers in the museum field; completing a Museum Studies Certificate Program and working on a Graduate Degree - she felt she had to find a way to bring these resources to anyone out there who dreams about working in a museum - but doesn't know where to start. So, with a passion for sharing resources and a knack for working into the wee hours of the morning, her wish came true when she created this network for all of you!
